Wormtech Programmes

Growers wishing to simply purchase Wormtech products and apply them according to their own ideas or to target particular issues are welcome to do so. Our Technical Manager Dave Whalley may be able to advise. However
most of our customers prefer to follow one of our standard application programmes, which are designed to deliver predictable results for the majority of users. These are set out below.

Turf

Wormtech Ground is an excellent soil conditioner for turf, supplying beneficial microbes and humic acid for:

  • synthesis of solid and liquid fertilisers into plant available form;
  • enhancement of nutrient uptake during times of stress and to boost turf colour;
  • reintroduction of soil organisms to help readdress the imbalance of soil borne diseases;
  • introduction of organisms that naturally feed on thatch, to reduce associated problems.

Programmes vary according to season and the particular objective sought or problem being addressed.  Application rates usually range from 10 to 40 litres per hectare.  Contact Greg Walker at Wormtech for advice.
